Stunning wine estate restaurant serving the finest of modern South African cuisine with influences from all over the globe and classical fine dining roots is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their team and achieve further culinary awards. Working for one of the countries recognised and accomplished Chefs this is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills and experience in quality fine dining and develop your palate.
The position requires previous working experience as a Sous Chef to Senior Sous chef of one of the country’s top restaurants or luxury five star Hotels offering fine dining outlet and be capable of running the entire kitchen operation in the Chefs absence.
Only dedicated and serious culinary professionals looking to further their career and work with finest ingredients in developing memorable dishes, working experience in all sections of the kitchen and the ability to run a team of dedicated chef under the guidance of the Executive chef will be considered.
The restaurant is situated in one of the most beautiful locations in the area so own transport is essential and suitable for someone living in the Stellenbosch wine lands area preferred.
Excellent salary package of between R13,000-R15,000 dependant on experience is negotiable and great opportunity to learn and develop.
